Getting There

Mallorca has one airport, which is the third largest international airport in Spain. With daily flights from the UK and European countries, getting to the island is very easy. For visitors from the US, or elsewhere, it may be easier to get a connecting flight in another one of Spain’s major airports, like Barcelona or Madrid. If you’re looking to take the scenic route, you could even fly into Barcelona or Valencia, and take a 6-hour ferry to Palma.

Weather

One of the best parts of Mallorca is its lovely climate. The island enjoys hot summers and short, mild winters. Besides the temperature, Mallorca enjoys sunshine around 300 days of the year. For our Mallorca Sailing Itinerary, the summer months will offer the best sailing conditions. While summer in Mallorca certainly has the best beach weather, you can still enjoy a quality holiday in the spring and autumn – but the weather isn’t quite as predictable as the summer months.
